John Turner

John started singing at school with the choir which all his mates thought
was a bit sad... So he thought he'd better join a band. That band was
called Amethyst, a progressive rock band which lasted a couple of
years. John then got involved with a few function bands but that was not
his thing, the money was nice though. In the early 90's John started
looking for another rock band and answered a advert for a band that
would become his life for the next 8 years, that band was Tranzam and
it was everything he was looking for, not just great musicians but
really good friends as well. At the end of the 90's John took a break
from music to concentrate  on his other passion, custom motorcycles and
started his business Heartland Choppers. In 2008 he joined the band
Jaded, a rock covers band and then had a hard working stint with Devoted to Rock.
Unfortunately it seemed that nothing was going to
compare with those happy Tranzam years, so when Rick rang him
to say there was an opening John jumped at the chance. John is now back at
home with the band that he loves with an old friend and 3 brand new ones!
